How to accomplish this? Go to your visits with your healthcare professional prepared with a list of questions, make sure you get them answered during your appointment, then take action on what you've learned. This not only makes you an advocate for your own health, it also helps to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and support.
Another way to create a win-win partnership with your HCP is to join the BP Success Zone Program.
